Congratulations on your achievement and you won’t regret it. My brother still smokes and he had an incident at work where he had to go to the hospital by ambulance. He’s been diagnosed with COPD. There is no cure. My aunt died of COPD with complications of dementia. So I stand and applaud you.
Thank you so much! And I’m so very sorry about your family members. That is a terrible diagnosis. I don’t regret quitting, but I do miss it an awful lot sometimes. The addiction never truly goes away. But it is wonderful to not have to stand outside in sub-zero temperatures in order to feed the monster monkey on my back.
