romance festival

I love writing novellas. They are quick stories, something to read in an evening with a glass of wine in comfy clothes. In this crazy, busy world, reading something short can be a little treat that doesn’t take up so much time that you start to feel guilty about the indulgence.

Writing a novella is not for everyone, but here are a few tips I’ve learned along the way about the art of writing short. Hopefully they’ll help you as well!

Keep your idea focused

Novellas are generally anywhere from 20k to 40k and that is not a lot of words.
