This Week in My World

This hasn’t been an overly exciting week for me. Summer is winding down, the day job is a drag, and there is no vacation relief for me until October.

Still, I did manage to get some stuff done.

• Checked my email approximately 4562 times to see if there was any word yet on when I would get to start edits on my Mardi Gras Quickie, Sinfully Yours
• Worked on some serious edits on a New Year’s story I have been trying to sell for a while now
• Went to my neighborhood’s annual street fair and had some funnel cake
• Read Nocturnal by Scott Sigler
• Thought about starting Insanity again, ate a cookie instead
• Thought long and hard about what stuff I wanted to put in the JAVA KARMA basket we are putting together for EC’s RomantiCon
• Drank lot of coffee
• Cried a little when I found out Ben Affleck was going to be Batman
• Decided I wanted cookies, but the bakery was closed so I went to the supermarket and got those break off the little squares and bake chocolate chip cookies which I burned horribly. I went to the bakery the next day
• Decided not to be a redhead anymore, decided to go blond, then changed my mind and stayed red
