Six Sentence Sunday

December 16, 2012

Here are six more sentences from my Christmas Quickie, Santa’s Sleeping Beauty.

She took a breath to try to clear away the black cloud that seemed to follow her around. “You’re absolutely right, I need to lighten up. It’s Christmas Eve, I’m at Macy’s, on 34th Street no less, with Santa Claus.” The hottest damn Santa Claus I’ve ever had the privilege of laying eyes on, she added silently. She smiled over at him. “Tonight’s the night for dreams and wishes, miracles and magic, right?”
