Here are six sentences from Sculpting A Demon, my story in Art of Attraction.
The word left her mouth and landed in the silence of the room like an explosion. This was real. There was a real, live naked man in her bed. A stranger she had been about to…with a yelp, she recoiled backward with enough force that she fell out of the bed and hit the floor with a hard thump.
“Jesus!” she breathed as she scrambled away from him.
The man laughed, a deep, resonant sound, like rich, dark chocolate. “Certainly not.”
