Here are another six from my friends-to-lovers WiP.
Kat turned toward him and their eyes met. Tension gathered in the air between them, thick, palpable, electric.
Dean dipped his head, his mouth hovering just over hers. “I want to kiss you so badly,” he said, his normally rich voice husky and strained.
Her gaze flicked from his eyes down to his lips and her heart jackhammered in her chest. “What’s stopping you?”
