Special Guest Olivia Brynn & GIVEAWAY!!

May 2, 2012

I am super excited to have hot erotic romance author OLIVIA BRYNN here with me today! Be sure to leave a comment to be entered to win a copy of Flipped!

LisaFox: So, tell us about you. Who is Olivia Brynn?

OliviaBrynn: Olivia Brynn is the saucy alter-ego of romance author Alanna Coca. Olivia is the one who always got Alanna in trouble growing up. I don’t think my mother is surprised at all that I have this second identity.

LF: You are a romance author, but do you consider yourself a romantic?

OB: I’m not the kind of woman who wears flowers in her hair and skips through her day kissing everyone on the cheek, but love romantic movies, romance books, and any little news story that has a nice happy ending.

LF: I love friends-to-lovers stories because of the deep feelings the characters have for one another. Flipped sounds incredibly hot as well as emotional. Can you tell us more about the story?

OB: Sure! I’ve always loved friends-to-lovers stories as well. These two are both in the construction field, and they join forces to flip a house and sell it for a profit. All of their spare time is spent working together on their renovation project, so one night they decide to take a break at a local club. Mario and Carter have a lot of history, but never even looked at each-other “that way”. Neither wants to ruin their friendship, but they find this new attraction is too hard to ignore.

LF: One of the very beautiful things about m/m romance is that there are two sexy heroes to drool over. Who plays Carter and Mario in the movie?

OB: My inspiration for Mario was underwear model Jesus Luz, but I’m not sure if he’s even an actor lol. For Carter, I think it would be Channing Tatum, though I don’t think he’s much of an actor either. (Sorry, Channing.)

LF: As we all know, the end of the world is coming this year. What five must-haves do you have in your zombie-proof bunker?

OB: Besides Jesus and Channing? Well chocolate for sure. My laptop, because maybe without the internet I could get a whole lot accomplished in my works in progress. Music, because I can’t work without it (you name it, I listen to it).My Kindle, because I have a huge pile of books I haven’t read yet all loaded on there. And last but not least, chocolate.

LF: Who would you break the law to meet?

OB: Derek Jeter. Though I’d probably be too tongue tied to actually say anything intelligent, and I’d end up dripping drool on his shoes. Is he the one bailing me out of jail? I’m thinking there’s a plot bunny there…

LF: Boxers or briefs?

OB: I’ll certainly check. Is that what I get arrested for?

LF: Any new projects in the works?

OB: I’ve got about ten new books in various stages of completion. A few m/m, including the sequel to Falling Star. I also would like to finish the third “men in uniform” short story. This time featuring a pilot. So many stories, so little time!

LF: How can people find you online?

OB: I’m mostly on Twitter http://twitter.com/oliviabrynn and Facebook http://facebook.com/oliviabrynn. My website is http://oliviabrynn.com where I post an update on my blog every Saturday.

Thanks so much for having me, Lisa! To thank you and your readers for putting up with me, I’d like to offer one commenter a copy of Flipped (or one of my backlist books). Just leave a comment if you’re interested, and I’ll pick a winner Saturday morning.

Carter Hope would do just about anything for his best friend. When Mario gets the bright idea to buy a POS house together to flip, Carter swears he’s out of his mind.

Unfortunately, Mario Gutierrez is hard to resist. After one weird conversation at a bar, and one meaningful look across their empty beer bottles, Carter isn’t sure he’s not the one flipping for his friend. They’re both tops, so to make this work, one will have to give in and roll over. Carter will have to come to terms with his past before he can look to a future with his best friend.

Thanks, Eden! Silver has some wonderful covers. That particular one is for their Sparkle line, a short story cover that will get reused, but it fit my story very well, so I’m happy!
