I can’t believe it’s December already! But since it is, here are six sentences from my Christmas Quickie, Santa’s Sleeping Beauty, to get you in the holiday mood.
“Yeah,” she said, and took a breath to try to clear away the black cloud that seemed to follow her around. “You’re absolutely right, I need to lighten up. It’s Christmas Eve. I’m at Macy’s, on 34th Street no less, with Santa Claus.” The hottest damn Santa Claus I’ve ever had the privilege of laying eyes on, she added silently and smiled over at him. “Tonight’s the night for dreams and wishes, miracles and magic, right?”
