Six Sentence Sunday
This week’s six are from an old free read of mine called SPRING FEST. Many of you may have read it already. The only reason I highlight it this week is because I turned it into a free eBook on Smashwords. Just for fun really. I did edit it a bit, but it is essentially the exact same story it always was, though now it has a cover and is available in all sorts of fancy downloadable forms.
And that makes it infinitely cooler, right?
Maybe she did have a slight chance. She didn’t want to think about it too much and jinx herself or let the fantasies that kept her company on the long, lonely, country nights take control, but she had been seeing quite a bit of Derek around town. He always seemed to be where she was. Always with a smile and a complement and some witty banter. But maybe that was more a consequence of how small Alexandria was rather than any real interest on his part. Julia couldn’t decide, but regardless of the reason, she fully enjoyed every single one of their encounters.
If you’d like, you can download it right here: SPRING FEST

Make sure to check out the OFFICIAL SITE for all of this week’s sexy sixes!
And I would too, if that pic is a visualization of Derek! oh my gawd! I love your writing style, I feel like you are telling me the story at a coffee shop, and it’s a bit of a secret.
Yup, I’m with Alix on this one. Off to find this book!
Ahem, *beaming* aside from your fantastic six, I always enjoy encountering your pics too!
Hee! Life in a small town. Been there done that! Got the T-shirt… although I wouldn’t mind loosing it if I saw someone hot like that! lol!
Great six as always Lisa!
xx
A.
Ooh Ooh freebie?! *runs away to check Smashwords*
Another great 6 🙂
Love those 6 Lisa! And the Eye Candy!
Can’t blame her a bit. 🙂 Definitely yummy eye candy too
I’m off to get the book and I’ll keep the picture in mind as I read it.
Love: “Always with a smile and a compliment and some witty banter.” So much more compelling (and telling) than a gushing physical description! Though the illustration was certainly welcome 🙂
Well, I’d enjoy myself too if I was running into “him” all over town! LOL. Going to stash this one in my TBR pile immediately! Thanks for sharing!
Small towns are so great for that kind of game. A nice psychological piece that seems like it could get physiological.
Nice six. Enjoyed it. Funny how you can keep running into the same person around town.
A great six. Thank you for sharing.
Oh Alexandria – in the US? I feel that this is a nice guy… 🙂
Heading over to check out the entire thing!
Is that Derek? OMG. I’ll fight her for him. lol! Great six!
Great six and an equally great pic! Yum.
Oh that’s an intriguing six! And a hot man. May have to hop over to Smashwords now…
You show us so much in this excerpt. 🙂 Love it!
Yes, I know that kind of hopeful insecurity. What a believable character you’re painting here.
I love how she doesn’t know.
I will not be distracted by the picture… I will not be distracted… Oh I’ve said that already! Great six.
I’ve always enjoyed the chase. Those few weeks of not knowing if he’s interested, but hoping. Sounds like a great story!
Is it a real town in the USA? Alexandria in Maryland? Or somewhere else?
And here is to many more encounters LOL Great six…now I must go read this in full. 🙂
Love how she’s thinking about him.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off the check the book out.
You had me at smile, compliment & witty banter! A great six with a strong promise of fun stuff to come!
Gotta love those “coincidental” run-ins!
Great six! Loved the pic. He always seemed to be where she was…That guy could stalk me any day!
Great six!
I’d say fate keeps throwing them together–intriguing!
Great six and now I am off to go download the story!
Ditto what everyone else said AND I downloaded the story. Thanks for the freebie. I mean, the free story. *blush*
