Six Sentence Sunday
There is this vampire story that I’ve had in mind for some time now. I have an inkling of an idea of how I would want it to go, but so far only one scene has come to me. I wrote it out one night and put it aside. I found it again today when I was looking for something for to share this week.
It’s not as sexy as some of the things I usually post, but I think it has potential.
The scent of her blood filled his head, driving him wild, threatening to send him over the edge. He could feel the frenzy coming on, the red mist descending over his vision and he fought to keep it at bay.
She stirred in his arms and anguish pierced his long dead heart. She was dying. Dying and she would not let him save her. He looked down at her pale face, felt her labored breathing and knew he was losing her forever.
