Quite a Quandary

January 21, 2011

I’ve been watching quite a few pirate movies recently, mostly as research for this little pirate project I am working on, and I have discovered something that has me slightly disturbed.

I’m totally in love with Errol Flynn.

Now this really shouldn’t be a problem, after all his is dashing and handsome and charismatic and witty and charming and debonair. Everything I could ever want in an ex-husband.

The problem lies in the fact that he is dead.  And has been dead since long before I was even born. I want him for my harem – he would look really, really lovely there – but I don’t know.  It’s hard for him to be one of my future ex-husbands when he doesn’t really have a future.

But look at him!! How could I not want him for my very own??

What do you all think? Do you think that I give him something like an honorary membership? How do you think I should work that?

Oh, hell, I’ve loved him for ages. He’s dishy. Not sure how to fit him in as a future ex-husband, though. It seems a shame to leave him off the list. Maybe have an “If Only…” list to include those gentlemen who are physically unable to be ex-husbands. Errol Flynn, Clark Gable…etc.

    😀

I LOVE the idea of an “If Only” list. I’m going to have to think about that some more

Hey there is nothing wrong with that. There are so many hunky actors who are no longer around…He is good looking I must say.

I was shocked by how attractive he was the first time I watched one of his movies. And not only just physically attractive he has… something more, you know?

Keep looking at those pictures. I know I’d not debate any further. He’s a keeper.

Oh yes! You know, he had a son (Sean Flynn) who bore a remarkable resemblance to Errol – trouble is, he’s dead too…

    Guess I wasn’t much help…

Hmmm, maybe he has some grandchildren? I’ll have to look into that.

    Honorary membership is definitely warranted!

Thanks Eden! I think so. It looks like I’ll be starting an Honorary Club now.

I think an honorary membership as one of your future ex-husbands is a good idea. If you believe in an after-life, he could always be your future ex at that time.

I’ve always liked him too, and I had the same problem with him being already dead. But he is still living in the sense that his movies are still around and we still watch them.

And such great movies they were! He really was a very dashing man.
