March 1963- I was 10, Mom was in hospital and couldn’t shop but Dad gave me a ring with my birthstone-aquamarine. It was the only piece of jewelry he picked out by himself and my first ring. Still have it, doesn’t fit but I wouldn’t give it up for anything.

the best present I ever got was a ceramic clock. It’s not really a special clock but my BFFs family all worked hard to paint a barn so they could buy it for me so that makes it priceless to me

Okay, I’m going to get all mommy-sentimental on ya here, but my best birthday present was a tie between my 28th birthday and my 30th. For my 28th birthday, I had my daughter (well, she was born 15 days before it, so I count it) and for my 30th, I had my son. They’re my cherubs and my reason for being.

the best birthday gift was my mom treated for the whole day started off with going to the spa then we had lunch and went shopping then meet up with my family for dinner then me and my sisters with my mom went to the movies …it wasnt about the stuff i got but the time she spent with me that i loved the most

My birthday is next month and my father would always give me the option of getting a smaller birthday and smaller Christmas presents of one large present combining the two events so I chose to get one big one when I was about 12 (46 now) and he got me a rechargable & portable TV/Radio combo that I was wanting (it was a new gadget back then) and I loved that thing, I had it until I was 19 and went into the military, then I passed it down to my sister.

These days the best birthday presents are sleeping in, and having some uninterrupted girlfriend time–it’s such a treat to get to enjoy a meal together and some time to laugh and catch up and enjoy the women who make my life special!

It’s so hard to choose the best birthday gift. For the past 4 years my birthday gift is usually a little early. My mom and I would save up money and go for a trip to some author get together (most of the time Lora Leigh’s RAW). Spending time with the authors and time with mom and being able to let loose, those are great times for us. But even with those times, she would always still have something (no matter how big or small) for me to open on my birthday.

Happy Birthday! This kind of pales in comparison to the other best birthday gift ever stories, but when I was 12 I got a brand new saddle for my scruffy mutt of a pony. I was more than a horse crazy kid, I was horse insane, and this was the most amazing gift ever. Of course the pony was pretty awesome, too 🙂

My favorite birthday present was a 5 day cruise with my sister’s that my hubby surprised me with on my 30th birthday. I was a new mom of twin’s at the time and pretty much worn to a nub, lol. My hubby got mega bonus points for putting the event together and then taking over kid duty while I was gone. By the time I got home, the poor guy needed a mini-vacation himself! But me, I was totally recharged, had my sense of humor back, and was ready to take on the ravening hoard.

Happy Birthday Lisa! My B day is October 28th. My best birthday present ever was my 18th. My mum and dad made me a gold ring each and they were unique and beautiful. They are my favorit piece of jewlery up to this day.

My birthday presents this year were pretty cool, as I got season 2 of Castle and a copy of Naked Heat. (Castle is my fav show)
My best presents weren’t for my birthday though. Last Christmas, I received a lap top, and the Easter after my daughter was born, I received a dishwasher. Those have to be the best presents for me ever.
