What I’ve Learned from Stephen King

April 2, 2010
  • Clowns are really, really awful
  • Always stand and be true
  • Big, giant spider-things suck even worse than clowns
  • Never kill off popular characters
  • Maine is damn creepy
  • There are other worlds
  • Adverbs line the path to Hell
  • Don’t trust fluffy, cute Saint Bernards with evil glints in their eyes
  • There really are monsters under the bed
  • “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”
  • Always take good care of my Toolbox

Most true about clowns & adverbs. Currently I’m reading “Under the Dome” and am having problems going about my daily life due to how immersed I am in it. Are you reading it also or planning on procuring it? I think it’s one of his best.

I’m reading it now, which I guess inspired the post. It is really good and I kinda don’t want it to end, so I’m trying to stretch it out even though I only have about 200 pages left.

Under the dome is really good. I Like the reference is makes to a certain character from lee child too.

Under the Dome was great and I love when authors do shout outs like that. It is always fun. Thanks so much for stopping by Cameron!
